Membership Opportunities

If you have worked in the insulation industry for several years or are just getting started Local #49 may be able to help you. Local #49 continually seeks insulators with all levels of experience for work opportunities throughout the territory.

Local #49 offers membership opportunities through the apprenticeship program and the applicant mechanic program. Applications are available at the Local #49 office year-round. Once an application is completed it is kept on file for future opportunities. Workers with limited experience in the trade may apply to the apprenticeship program. The JAC takes new apprentices into the training program regularly. Workers with extensive experience in the trade may be placed in the applicant mechanic program. The applicant mechanic program is designed to ensure all workers have training in all facets of the insulation industry.
